One panel for the details that matter
Start with a useful summary, then expand the original metadata segments when you need the exact tags.
- File and image
- Check format, file size, dimensions, orientation, color space, channels, depth, and alpha information.
- Camera and lens
- See the recorded camera make, model, lens, software, creator, and copyright fields.
- Capture settings
- Review capture time, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focal length, flash, white balance, and metering.
- Location and privacy
- When GPS is embedded, see precise coordinates, altitude, and a map link with a clear privacy warning.
How to view photo metadata
The viewer is part of the ClearCrowds editor, so the same panel remains available while you work.

Choose the file whose embedded information you want to inspect.

The editor opens with Photo information already expanded in a sidebar.

Expand exact metadata
Open EXIF, GPS, IPTC, XMP, ICC, or other available sections to see their tags.
What the viewer can and cannot tell you
Photo metadata is useful context, but it is not an authenticity check.
- The panel is read-only and does not change the photo or its metadata.
- Screenshots, social apps, and export tools often remove EXIF and GPS; stripped fields cannot be recovered here.
- Camera and software metadata can be edited, so it should not be treated as proof of when, where, or how a photo was made.
